Living my Life - Lindsay Barrs

I've been passionate about writing ever since I can remember, and to this day, I always say that I'm infinitely more articulate on paper than I am out loud. I'm currently a senior at Fairfield University, majoring in English/Professional Writing. I have written for The Fairfield Mirror (9 published articles), served as a student editor and writer for Florence University of the Arts' Blending newsletter and magazine, and become co-president of Fairfield's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society. As for relevant work experience, I have interned for a small PR firm based out of Fairfield during the first half of this year, and I am currently interning at Redbook Magazine in NYC. My ultimate goal is to become a novelist and my most recent fascination is writing fiction. In terms of the topics I will be writing about on Suite101.com, I have a strong affinity for women's health (both mind and body), in addition to politics and sports.
